MUS 335 Finding your Voice: Techniques for healthier breathing, speaking and singing

Students will engage with singing as a practice that teaches participants to regulate their nervous systems to ease anxiety and energize the body for the purpose of offsetting the fear, perfectionism, and self-judgment implicit in singing with and for others. Students will gain tools to release stress, boost their immune systems, increase energy, improve memory and cognition, and benefit from cardio-vascular endurance.
