ENG 335 Literatures and Cultures of Food

ENG 335 invites students to explore the relationship between what we eat and who we are. Students will examine the meals on their plates and those found in literature to gain understanding of human nature and how we compose personal and cultural identities. Through diverse texts and experiments, we will learn more about the self and our ties to family, our society, our past, cultures around the globe, and to the natural world that sustains us.
