This course is a study in the anatomy of leadership, the need for quality and management leadership, the role of discipline in leadership situations, the variables affecting leadership, and the important role effective followership plays in effective leadership. Case studies are used to examine Air Force leadership and management situations as a means of demonstrating and exercising practical application of the concepts.

This course is taken in conjunction with AS 301. It consists of a weekly laboratory including Air Force customs and courtesies, physical fitness, drill and ceremonies, leadership studies, leadership exercises, and Air Force officer career days. It provides students opportunities to use fundamental management skills while planning and conducting corps activities.
