This course covers the beginnings of manned flight and development of aerospace power during WWI, WWII, Korea, and the employment of U.S. air power in civic actions, scientific missions, and space exploration. It also includes discussions of U.S. doctrine, Air Force core functions, and the impact of Air Force senior leaders on the development and application of air power theory.

It consists of a weekly laboratory including Air Force customs and courtesies, physical fitness, drill and ceremonies, leadership studies, leadership exercises, and Air Force officer career days. Provides students opportunities to demonstrate fundamental management skills and prepares cadets for Field Training.
