THTR 171 Theater Practicum

This course is designed to integrate first-year students into the production components of the discipline and the theater program. Students will meet during the class time block with various faculty, staff, and professionals over the term and be assigned one backstage production assignment. Course is graded P/NP. Grade of IP is allowed.

THTR 172 Production Work and Review I

Students will commit to 30 hours divided between costume, scenic, lighting, sound, and properties production areas. Students will generate a schedule with shop supervisors and be trained how to safely use all shop equipment. Required of first year Theater majors and includes written self-evaluation and oral review with faculty. Course is graded P/NP. Grade of IP is allowed.
