Shepard Academic Resource Center

Brenda Greiner, M.A., director

The Shepard Academic Resource Center (SARC) was established under the Office of the Provost by regent Steve Shepard. Its objective is to be a resource and partner for academic needs beyond the classroom, joining students in their learning process through outreach, mentoring, tutoring, coaching, and modeling. The SARC is a division of academic resources, programs and advocacy for all students. It is comprised of Accessible Education Services, Care Team: Academic Support, First-Year Experience and First-Generation Student programming, and the Learning Commons, offering peer tutoring.

The departments of the Shepard Academic Resource Center are located in Buckley Center 101 and 163 and can be reached at (503) 943-7895 or SARC@up.edu. The center's webpage is located at www.up.edu/SARC.
